This procedure is typically performed under local anesthesia assisted by intravenous sedation, and it is therefore necessary to be hospitalized for 1 day. The operating time is approx. 50 minutes for the intermediate (upper or lower) and approx. 90 minutes for both (upper and lower). The upper blepharoplasty incision is carried out in a way that practically the whole scar, barely perceptible, is hidden in the upper eyelid crease. The suture is done in an intradermal way and can usually be removed on the 4th postoperative day.
